Reading I: Numbers 13:1-2, 25–14:1, 26a-29a, 34-35
Responsorial: Psalm 106:6-7ab, 13-14, 21-22, 23
Gospel: Matthew 15: 21-28
To God we are all foreign. In fact we are nothing like him, he is so far above us. Yet he will also give in to us if we keep at him. He may not give us what we want but he shall give us what is best for us and he shall let us know it is best for us. Only God can reassure us in our hearts in such a way that we know what he is saying is correct. And what a comfort that is, when we are open to his touch and allow him to speak.
