In today's parable, Jesus draws a similarity between himself and the son of a landlord who has come to collect rent. The tenants decide to kill the son and pay nothing. The Pharisees know quite well what Jesus means in this parable. They understand that it is directed towards them. Then Jesus goes on to refer to himself as the corner stone which is rejected but states that he is the real cornerstone.
Two questions come to mind.
The first; Is Jesus the rock, the foundation and the corner stone of my life?
The second; If Jesus walked the cities of Europe or America today preaching a pro-life, anti poverty, dignity for all message, would he be accepted or rejected?
