READING I: Isaiah 1:10, 16-20
RESPONSORIAL: Psalms 50:8-9, 16bc-17, 21 and 23
GOSPEL: Matthew 23:1-12
Although the Gospels for Lent seem to come from all over the place, they follow the one theme; the life and attitude of the Christian.
Today we are told not to be like the pharisees but to do what they say and not imitate them.
We see this in our own life as we become more involved in our local parish and church. At first the priests and leaders all seem good and pious but when we get to know them they have feet of clay.
