READING I: Romans 16:3-9, 16, 22-27
RESPONSORIAL: Psalms 145:2-3, 4-5, 10-11 GOSPEL: Luke 16:9-15

We are all divided about where our loyalties lie. This is because we need money to live, much as we would like to survive without it. What Jesus is warning us against is the over dependence on money and the over love of it. Next he tells us that God judges the heart. This is very important for us to know--it is the motive that makes or breaks our behaviour. We all tend to look at the action and judge from that, but long after the action is gone and the incident forgotten, the motive shall still influence out heart.
